Play as Nightwing and Catwoman in upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight DLC.

Starting today, those who’ve purchased the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass will be able to download the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack and Original Arkham Batman Skin, publisher Warner Bros. has announced.

These two updates are but a small taste of what’s to come in Batman: Arkham Knight’s action-packed content schedule, which will continue later this month and throughout the next, we’re told.

The real meat arrives on September 29 when two additional add-ons are released. The highlight, being a new story-based campaign that is set after the events of Arkham Knight and sees players take on the role of Nightwing. It will be released alongside the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2, which is also outlined below:

  • Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2: Grab this Crime Fighter Challenge Pack and receive various challenge maps for Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and the Batmobile. This expansive challenge pack allows focused training in Freeflow Combat and Invisible Predator stealth incursion.
  • GCPD Lockdown: Set after the events of Arkham Knight, play as Nightwing to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department in this thrilling story pack.

Further story content will be coming in October, when Rocksteady release “Catwoman’s Revenge”, which will see the heroine take on Riddler in a new series of missions. There’s no date on when that might arrive yet, but it will release alongside additional content for the month, as explained below:

  • Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack: Travel back in time with the Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack. This pack includes the 1960s TV Series Batmobile, Classic TV Series Catwoman Skin, Classic TV Series Robin Skin and two racetracks inspired by the Batman Classic TV Series.
  • Catwoman’s Revenge: Set after the events of Arkham Knight, prowl the night as Catwoman as she seeks her revenge on the Riddler with this story pack.
  • Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #3: Get this Crime Fighter Challenge Pack to receive various combat and predator maps featuring Batman, Nightwing, Robin, and Azrael.

In our review of Batman: Arkham Knight in June, we called Rocksteady’s swan song to the Arkham franchise a “masterpiece,” stating that it is so good “you won’t want to put the controller down.”

Batman: Arkham Knight is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Be sure to catch the video below and stay tuned to GizLine for future updates, trailers and screenshots pertaining to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight.
