Xbox Elite Wireless Controller revealed by Microsoft during E3 2015.

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller for Xbox One and Windows 10 at its E3 2015 presser.

It purportedly has been designed to “meet the rigorous demands of hardcore, competitive-level gamers” and offers a whole host of customization options.

The new design will offer “more freedom and flexibility” and can even be modified with an “easy-to-use app” for better “control, combinations and confidence”, according to the hardware giant.

Personally, the price point completely takes my interest out of the equation on this controller. It’s been confirmed that it’ll run $150 (that’s roughly £95). It will come with a carrying case, a set of four paddles, six thumbsticks (two standard, two tall and two domed), two D-pads (faceted and standard), a USB cable and is supplied with batteries.

Microsoft consistently reiterated that they were introducing the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller to meet demand. As such, let us know what you think in the comments below. Our question is, will you be picking up the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller?

The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will be available for Microsoft Xbox One this October. There’s a video highlighting its aspects below.
