Warner Bros. and TT Games have sent over a fresh batch of screenshots for LEGO Marvel Avengers.

LEGO Marvel Avengers will follow the storyline of both Marvel’s The Avengers (2012) and its sequel Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). As has become tradition for the long-running LEGO franchise, it will feature both single-player and drop-in/out support for up to two players.

The game was officially announced earlier this month, ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, otherwise more commonly known as E3. The event, which takes place in Los Angeles every year, plays home to some of the biggest names in the industry.

This, of course, isn’t the first title in which the Avengers have starred. The 2013 release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes saw them fighting alongside the likes of Wolverine, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four.

However, whilst LEGO Marvel Super Heroes utilized voice actors, this year’s release of LEGO Marvel Avengers will instead use audio from the films, it has been confirmed.

In addition to LEGO Marvel Avengers, this year will see the release of LEGO Dimensions. A new take on the Toys to Life concept, it will allow players the opportunity to bring up to seven characters, vehicles and weapons into the game at any given time, through the use of the LEGO Toy Pad.

LEGO Marvel Avengers is scheduled for release this winter on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, 3DS, Wii U and PC.
