Want your own Star Wars Battle Pod? Want one badly enough that you’re willing to part with $35,000 (£22,000)?

That’s the price tag for the bog standard edition. Yes, really. Bandai Namco’s releasing three different home versions of the Star Wars Battle Pod, staring next month on June 18.

Alongside the regular version they will be putting out a Premium Edition, which will be equipped with genuine leather seats that are synchronized to move and react to the action of the game and ‘exclusive carpeting.’

They will be stylized after the Rebel Alliance and Darth Vader. Oh, you’ll also get your name in the game’s ending credits. Though, for those luxuries, you’ll have to hand over a whopping $100,000 (£65,000). Yeah, you heard that right.

Want your own Star Wars Battle Pod? All you need is $35kOh, that price doesn’t include shipping or setting fees, we’re told. Just, in case, you know, that was a concern. As if that’d be a worry for someone willing to drop $100k.

Star Wars Battle Pod is an arcade aerial game featuring a ‘fully immersive’ Dome Screen, which sees players stepping into the pilot seat as they take part in some of the most iconic battle scenes from the movies.

There’s only five stages currently featured, of which are inspired by the original Star Wars movies (episodes 4-6). Though, they’re promising that additional stages will ‘come at a later date.’

Having had a chance to check out the Battle Pod personally, I’d love to have one of these. But not for that price. No, no, no. Plus, I’m not sure I’d even have the room!

How about you? Would you drop that kind of cash on one of these Star Wars Battle Pods?
