Discover the man and uncover a legend in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, available this Friday on PS4.

Sony has sent over the launch trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which is out this Friday exclusively on PlayStation 4. Read on after the break for full details on what’s included.

Remastered in 1080p and running at 60 frames per second, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will encompass Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. All, of which, will come complete with “improvements in lighting, rendering, texture mapping, and dynamic audio.”

The task of updating the titles was not handled by Naughty Dog themselves, who are hard at work on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, which is out in 2016. Instead, this task was given to Bluepoint Games, who have previously shown they are up to the task, with the God of War Collection and The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection.

As announced back in June, the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection also includes trophy support for all three titles in the franchise, along with the addition of a new Photo Mode, allowing players to capture their favourite, trademark Uncharted moments and share them with the community.

Undoubtedly a highlight of the collection, though, is the inclusion of access into the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta. It’s expected to launch on December 4 and run for a total of nine days.

Since its debut on PlayStation 3, the Uncharted franchise from developer Naughty Dog, has become synonymous with the PlayStation brand. A hallmark of quality, the series has become renowned for its storytelling and visual fidelity, having sold more than 21 million units to date.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is scheduled for release on October 9 exclusively on the PlayStation 4. Be sure to catch the trailer below.

Having stuck with my Xbox, I never had a chance to play these the first time around. Very much looking forward to doing so now!
