Publisher Warner Bros. reveals blockbuster voice cast for upcoming Toys-to-Life video game LEGO Dimensions.

Warner Bros. Interactive and Traveller’s Tales have unveiled the voice cast for LEGO Dimensions, ahead of its release later this month.

The game, which I’m very much looking forward to on my end, will see characters from fourteen different fan-favourite film, television and game licenses collide, through the use of the Toys-to-Life to concept.

We already knew that a variety of actors would be repressing their roles, including Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor, Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald and Michelle Gomez as Missy, of who will appear in the Doctor Who add-ons for the game.

Though, today, the publishing giant has announced the full line-up, with blockbuster talent from the likes of Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown from the Back to the Future films leading the pack.

As part of the original, “epic story”, two new characters will be introduced. The first, is Joel McHale’s XPO, the game’s robot guide. The second, is Gary Oldman as Lord Vortech, the evil mastermind who seeks to control the LEGO Multiverse.

Repressing their roles from The LEGO Movie that includes Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Wyldstyle, Alison Brie as UniKitty and Charlie Day as Benny. Other actors from the film will also return to reprise their roles, though Batman has most notably been replaced by Troy Baker. For those who don’t know, he was previously voiced by Will Arnett in the film.

Chris Pratt will also voice Owen Grady and Irrfan Khan is Simon Masrani from this summer’s smash-hit movie Jurassic World. Whilst, original cast members of Ghostbusters, The Lord of the Rings, The Simpsons and Scooby-Doo will return to voice their roles, it has been confirmed. Topping it all off, additional supporting cast will include Tara Strong as Harley Quinn, Stephen Merchant as Wheatley and Ellen McLain as GLaDOS.

Out this month, the game allows players to bring up to seven characters, vehicles and weapons into LEGO Dimensions at any given time, through the use of the LEGO Toy Pad.

LEGO Dimensions is scheduled for release on September 29 in the United Kingdom for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. Be sure to catch the trailer below.
