New teaser for Don’t Breathe promises that it’s the film “everyone” will be talking about on Monday. Out this Friday.

Sony Pictures have released what will presumably be the last promotional teaser for Fede Alvarez’s Don’t Breathe ahead of its release in UK cinemas on September 9 – that’s this Friday. It promises that this is the film “everyone” will be talking about Monday.

It is the second feature film from writer and director Fede Alvarez, who has teamed up again with legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi, after the phenomenal remake of his horror-classic, Evil Dead, in 2013.

Though, this isn’t another Evil Dead – that much is clear – with the film exploring “different but equally terrifying territory” in what is described as a “shocking, suspense-driven tale” that takes aim at the “jugular with an unapologetically brutal and twisted” manner.

In Don’t Breathe, three friends who commit a string of perfectly planned robberies decide to pull off one final heist when they hear about a blind man living alone in a deserted Detroit neighbourhood. Though they think they’ll get away with it – they’re dead wrong.

The film reunites director Alvarez with his first choice for leading lady, Jane Levy (Evil Dead, Suburgatory) who stars in Don’t Breathe alongside Dylan Minnette (Goosebumps, Let Me In), Daniel Zovatto (It Follows, Fear the Walking Dead) and Stephen Lang (Avatar, The Men Who Stare At Goats).

Don’t Breathe arrives in cinemas throughout the United Kingdom on Friday, September 9. Already have your tickets booked or planning to see this one? Let us know in the comments below.
