Ubisoft showcases Dark Zone for Tom Clancy’s The Division at E3 2015.

Ubisoft has revealed the Dark Zone for Tom Clancy’s The Division at its E3 2015 press conference.

It is a seamless, player versus player enabled multiplayer component of the forthcoming much-anticipated title, where it’s every agent for himself. You can really experience the “fear and betrayal,” at the heart of the Dark Zone, in the video below.

The Division is set in New York, after a devastating pandemic sweeps through the city on Black Friday. Within days basic services fail. Society collapses into chaos amidst the panic for food and water. In its wake, The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents is activated to restore order.

I have been looking forward to Tom Clancy’s The Division since its original announcement way back in 2003 during Ubisoft’s E3 presser. As such, I was admittedly distraught when it was delayed last month. Let’s hope the new release date sticks, this time.

It has been confirmed that those who pre-order Tom Clancy’s The Division will be guaranteed access into the beta, which is scheduled to arrive this December on Xbox One. It will later arrive on PS4 and PC, but a date has yet to be confirmed.
