Dirty Dancing to tour the UK from September and through 2017

Ready to kick off your dancing shoes and party the night away? Dirty Dancing will tour more than 30 venues from next month.

The producers of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage have announced that starting from next month, the new production of the smash-hit show, will begin its nationwide tour.

As it makes its way across the country throughout the next twelve months, the show will visit 34 different venues, offering theatregoers the “ultimate live experience.”

The show, produced by Karl Sydow, Paul Elliot and Joy Entertainment in collaboration with Lionsgate and Magic Hour Productions brings the classic story to life on stage and promises to be “full of passion and romance, heart-pounding music and sensationally sexy dancing.” Who could pass that up, we ask?

For fans of the 1987 film – starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey – this will surely be one not to miss. Those heading to see the show can expect to relive classic moments and hit songs from the blockbuster movie, including ‘Hungry Eyes’, ‘Hey! Baby’, ‘Do You Love Me?’ and the heart stopping ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’.

Dirty Dancing opens at the Dartford Orchard Theatre on September 1 where it will run through until September 10, after which, it will continue on through its tour. Tickets are available to purchase now from ATG or the official tour site – depending on your venue of choice.
