Stealth Inc 2, Thomas Was Alone and The Swapper available as part of Curve Digital’s Instant Indie Collection Volume One.

Curve Digital has announced the Instant Indie Collection Volume One, a new bundle that offers Xbox and PlayStation owner’s three indie titles for one price.

It is a start of a new scheme, with additional bundles to be made available “semi regularly from now on,” that highlights celebrated indie titles.

The Instant Indie Collection Volume One is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Via (cross-buy), ahead of its release on Xbox One this Friday. For the price of £17.99 / $22.99 / €22.99, it gives players the opportunity to add the following titles to their collection:

  • Stealth Inc 2 takes the premise of tight, arcade-orientated stealth to a whole new level. Players embark on a remarkable platform adventure across a huge ‘Metroidvania’-style overworld in which clever gadgets, devious puzzles and a delicious sense of humour combine.
  • Thomas Was Alone is the game which introduced the world to Thomas, Chris, John, Claire and Laura – and, of course, Mike Bithell. The BAFTA winning game will delight and infuriate as players take a cast of quadrilaterals on a journey which will linger long after the game has concluded.
  • The Swapper, from Facepalm games, is an atmospheric puzzle platformer set in the furthest reaches of space. An experimental device allows players to clone versions of themselves in order to journey deeper into the game’s hand-crafted world in one of gaming’s most mature narrative adventures.

The bundle offers savings of more than 33% on the retail price, we’re told. It seems like a fantastic way to introduce players to a range of indie titles, we might add. Presumably, each bundle will contain three titles with a similar price point.

“Volume One is all about puzzle platformers, we intend to ensure that each collection keeps things fresh, aiming to cover multiple genres where we can. They will all have one thing in common, though – and that’s a ridiculously competitive price” said Jason Perkins, managing director, Curve Digital.

The Instant Indie Collection Volume One is out today on PlayStation 4, 3 and Vita (cross buy) and on Friday for Xbox One.
