Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is set to arrive in stores next week on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection from Ubisoft – which includes Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations – is set to hit stores on November 18.

The bundle will allow long-time fans and newcomers alike to relive the life of Ezio, from his humble beginnings as a brash young man to the legendary leader of the Assassin Brotherhood, through an epic three-part story of vengeance, intrigue, and romance.

Ubisoft had announced the collection back in September, promising that it would boast “enhanced graphics and post-processing techniques” that would bring the “stories and immersion to life” unlike ever before.

Despite that, Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection have received some controversy as of late, with many fans complaining of only slightly-improved visuals – perhaps comparable to that of the PC equivalent – and not a single gameplay improvement to be found. Though, they’re quite possibly misunderstanding the fact that this isn’t being advertised as a remastered edition, at all.

It is, however, a complete package of all of Ezio’s adventures. In addition to the single-player campaigns for each game, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will also include all single-player add-on content for them. Also included – and completing Ezio’s story – will be the Assassin’s Creed: Lineage and Assassin’s Creed: Embers short films (of which we’d recommend).

Ubisoft has opted not to include the multiplayer component, of which was first introduced with Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and further refined in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, within the collection.

Since its debut, the Assassin’s Creed franchise, of which tells the tale of the centuries-old battle between the Assassins and Templars, has sold more than 100 million copies. Quite an achievement, to say the least. It also makes it Ubisoft’s best-selling series.

This year, the publisher is skipping its annual release in favour of a more-polished product – purported to be named ‘Assassin’s Creed: Empire’, of which has been rumoured to be set in Egypt – potentially due for release in 2017. Fans of the franchise – including us here at GizLine, will have to hold out for the Michael Fassbender-starring feature film, due for release in December to tide us over.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is scheduled for release on November 18 – that’s next Friday – on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We can’t wait to relieve the life of everyone’s favourite Renaissance-era assassin, how about you? Let us know in the comments below.
