Alison Brie has a lot in common with Unikitty in latest trailer for LEGO Dimensions, which is scheduled to launch next week.

Alison Brie meets her LEGO Movie alter-ego, Unikitty, in the latest trailer for LEGO Dimensions, the upcoming Toys-to-Life video game from Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros. Interactive.

The video opens with Brie receiving a mysterious package, in a similar way to Christopher Lloyd earlier this year, who also returns to reprise his role as Doc Brown from Back to the Future. She proceeds to open the box, which contains a number of LEGO bricks, including the Unikitty minifigure and LEGO Gateway and Toy Pad.

Access to the LEGO Movie themed level and the LEGO Movie Adventure World, an open-world environment that can be freely explored at your own pace, are granted through the use of the Wyldstyle minifigure supplied with the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack.

However, in order to play as Unikitty herself, you will have to purchase a separate Fun Pack, sold individually. The Unikitty Fun Pack will include a Unikitty minifigure and Cloud Cuckoo Car and will retail for $14.99 / £14.99.

We’ve already broken down the plethora of Fun Packs coming to LEGO Dimensions starting from launch and throughout the next year in our guide here. In total, there’s more than 35 of them. It’s collector’s heaven.

Out next week, LEGO Dimensions will allow players to bring up to seven characters, vehicles and weapons into the game at any given time, through the use of the LEGO Toy Pad, for extreme crossovers. Think Batman driving the DeLorean or Unikitty becoming Doctor Who’s next companion.

LEGO Dimensions is scheduled to launch on September 27 in the United States and September 29 in the United Kingdom for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U.
